Formed in March 1997, Central Iowa Paddlers is an informal
organization started by and for people who find enjoyment and
relaxation in the sports of canoeing and kayaking. The group's
mission is to share information, promote recreation opportunities
and paddlesport safety, and encourage care of our aquatic
resources. For a $10.00 annual fee, each subscriber will receive:
- Club newsletters in March, May, July, and September
(Newsletters are sent electronically to members who provide an Email address)
- Schedule of paddlesport events
- Email notices of upcoming events and trips, some of which may not appear in the schedule
- A membership list with the March newsletter
